It all started with my first purchase of an Appaloosa mare named "Mic Winning Honor". My love for the

Breed grew from there. I decided to get into the showing aspect of it, and went on to train with Grant &

Penny Gibbs for over 10 years to win Reserve and World Titles. Presently I'm purchasing yearlings from top-

notch breeders such as Dave & Bobbie Best of Best Farms and Nancy Magnussen of Hopes Creek Ranch to

produce quality Longe Liners and Pleasure Horses. I have been involved with appaloosas for over 20 years.

Although I have been asked on some occasions if I would like to show other breeds, I guess I can say "NO".

My devotion and love for the Appaloosa horse will never go away!! They have been a very important part of

my life. It has turned out to be very rewarding for my family and I. We want to see the Appaloosa Industry

keep growing and be a big part of it. We now reside on 5 acres in Pahrump, Nevada, which we call

"Golden Spot Appaloosas". It truly is our Golden Spot.
